Lazy Daisy Stitch

I've uploaded a new YouTube video about embroidery ! It introduces how to do the "Lazy Daisy Stitch," a flower embroidery technique that everyone loves.

レイジーデイジーステッチ・レゼーデージーステッチ

I've created a video that covers everything from basic stitching techniques to creating the design shown in the thumbnail.

The small white flower in the thumbnail is embroidered using the "belly stitch," an advanced version of the lazy daisy stitch.

There are two ways to do the belly stitch (as far as I know), and I'm using the simpler method this time. This method creates a slightly three-dimensional, puffy embroidery.

Please give it a try.

Is it "Lazy Daisy Stitch" or "Lazy Daisy Stitch"? (This is about Japanese pronunciation.)

I wanted to know the origin of the lazy daisy stitch, so I looked through various books, but I couldn't find anything. I was looking for reasons like whether it came from the Netherlands or Germany, etc.

Incidentally, my mother's old embroidery book also listed it as "lazy daisy stitch"!

It's been a while since my last post, so I had trouble editing it...

I apologize if my speaking is slow or if there are parts that are difficult to see, but I would be happy if you would bear with me.

Also, this time, we experimentally filmed a part of the process that we don't usually show, which is "creating while thinking about the design." We hope you enjoy watching it!
