Visual production of embroidery

I embroidered " Bonne année " as a visual for New Year's greetings, and I was so happy to receive compliments that I decided to write about the embroidery process so that you can see a little bit of it.

There wasn't enough light, so the photo turned out a little dark.
The outline is made with chain stitch.
I used extremely fine thread, about the thickness of sewing machine thread, and mixed in some glittery thread for the stitching. You can see the outline stitching a little in the "2026" letters, but you might not notice it at a glance in the alphabet letters. However, drawing the outlines clearly makes the subsequent embroidery easier, so I embroidered them carefully.
The intricate stitches may seem difficult at first glance, but with crochet (Luneville embroidery), you can finish them in no time.
The material itself is just too cute!
Before I even started embroidering, I was struck by how incredibly cute the material was. As I embroidered, I was thrilled by the colors and textures.
At the workshop held at the end of last year, there was a materials exhibition called "Itotokeito Exhibition," and I mainly used materials that I purchased there. In fact, the only other thread I used might have been the navy thread from Gittermann that I used for the chain stitch.

By the way, the yarn in the image above is from the following manufacturer.
I use other types of yarn besides these three, but with one exception, I used yarn from the following manufacturers. These are materials I didn't know about until I encountered them at a workshop, and since then I've grown to love them and use them frequently.
Pink variegated silk yarn: √iro
Lurex thread: ANGELKING
Fancy yarn: MONDEFIL
After creating the outline with chain stitches, I embroidered with fancy yarn, and then added variegated silk thread mixed with metallic thread.
The variegated thread was dyed from pink to green, and when I embroidered with it, it looked like tiny flowers were blooming here and there, which I found adorable. I was embroidering while dreaming that, like planting seeds and letting plants sprout, the world of embroidery I create would gradually expand and reach many different people.
I've also uploaded it to YouTube!
At the end of the video, I've added a little animation of the finished product for fun. Please watch until the very end.
Thank you for reading to the end.
